Willas Tyrell. February 2014. Pen & Ink, Photoshop CS6
Willas Tyrell is awesome and I hope to actually get to meet him as the A Song of Ice and Fire series progresses. The book mention he has a crippled leg, but I’ve been spending an inordinate amount of time thinking about the extent of his injury and how that would factor into his design. In the end I imagine his family would have had an elaborate leg brace made for him to help him walk.
Also, let’s talk about how many roses are in this picture.
Sometimes she would whisper his name into her pillow just to hear the sound of it. “Willas, Willas, Willas.”

Sometimes she would whisper his name into her pillow just to hear the sound of it. “Willas, Willas, Willas.” Willas was as good a name as Loras, she supposed. They even sounded the same, a little. What did it matter about his leg?

Willas Tyrell Is A Pretty Cool Guy
Willas Tyrell is one of those characters we hear about all the time but never actually see, not even in flashbacks or recollections. The most information we get about him is in ASOS, and every word of it is praise.

I don’t want any Lannister, she wanted to say. I want Willas, I want Highgarden and the puppies and the barge, and sons named Eddard and Bran and Rickon.

Ser Loras Tyrell the Knight of Flowers
It was one day, when he found her in the godswood as the sun set gold in her hair, he spoke out of turn. “Your laugh rivals all the singers in the land.” (x)
